I have owned this kite from new (August 2008). An excellent light wind kite for the coming summer winds. However, you may get to use this ASAP with the rubbish winds we have had this winter. The wind range is massive (10-21mph). The colour is orange and black. Excellent condition, as I don't think the kite has been used anymore than 15-20 times in total.
I have been out and riding in 11mph with my skim-board, so it’s got some very good low end. However, I weigh around 13.5 stone and can be up and riding from about 14mph with a twin tip.
This kite has no tears, repairs or leaks or any damage what so ever. I have checked the kite over and I cannot see any signs of wear. However, the plastic catch on the inflate valve has snapped off. (Please see the picture) This does not affect the kite in anyway, just letting you know, as I like to give an honest description.
There is some staining to the main canopy from weighing it down with sand, so that’s why I haven’t said it’s in mint condition, otherwise it would be. This is only visible when your right up close and is only concentrated to around the centre of the kite - the usual places it normally appears.
