Finally managed to get to use this last leave. Twice...!

Firstly down as Rhosneigr, 33-38mph cross-on, was a bit nervous at first cos there was windsurfers out on 3.5's and ripping it up big time, ahh be reet. Got out and using the new Airush Switch had an absolute ball. It steers quickly without any surprises, unlike my Sonic. Depower, way better than the Sonic, and upwind was a breeze.

The forecast for Blackpool last week was average 23mph cross-on, worth the journey was the thought. Turns out for once the forecast was spot on. I was on the smallest kite on the water, of about 12 kiters by the end of the day, mostly on 12's but managed to stay out for a total of 6.5 hours, kiting down to the next village and tacking back upwind all day. The only time the board and I parted company all day was when the tide went out and I got caught in the shallows on the sandbanks, walked six feet out and away again. By far the best session yet. Length of tacks were dictated by the pain levels in the thigh muscles of my rear leg...!

Very easy to use, and the bar is the business. Seems to perform well in anything between 19mph and 35mph which compared to the sonic is superb. Above 35 ish though, big kahunas are needed. Self launching and landing no problems.

Build quality far better than last years stuff. All in all very happy with it.

Looking forward to the next time.....
