It all seems a bit quiet on the NE front the past few days, i know there has been no wind to shout about, but is everyone still recovering from the epic weekend that was the bank holiday?!!!! There was some good sessions had by the guys around Teeside. Saturday there was 10 kiters and 3 or 4 windsurfers out at Paddies, all the kiteers were on 10s and 12s. Some went smaller as the day went on. But when sunday came it was only 7s and 8s in site. No one dared to put up anything bigger and some didn't even dare come out.......even Jamie wimped out!!!! lol

Huge sets rolled into Majuba on sunday with very short periods in between, so that made it quite difficult to get out over them, it was also mainly wind swell, so it was very mushy and messy. But a great session none the less! Tom and I were down there for about 9am and were suprised when we considered putting up our 12s given the forecast, but we gave it an hour and it started to build, by 10.30am we were on the water, flying back and forward, getting hammered by gusts and over head height waves!!!! Thank goodness for board leash' that is all i will say!!!!! Next time check was 1pm and it was neukin!!!! Just too much to hold on to and ni on impossible to hold an edge, so we called it a day and apparently around that point it was gusting 45-50 knots. That is officially the windiest day i have ever kited!!!!! Might have been better with a little more cross shore and a little less wind swell. But beggars can't be choosers, so roll on the next big low of the season!!!! Not likely this coming week anyway!!!! lol
Cheers,
Rossco
