Just thought I'd say hi. I'm new to kitesurfing (just had my 1st lesson with kev a few days ago) and I'm now hooked so I figured I'd join here too.
I live in Beadnell so I'll probably see a few of you around at some point.

I've not got a kite or board yet but i already got myself a dakine storm seat harness. I'm probably just gonna hire kit from kev for now until I can afford to get my own.

just out of curiosity how much is it to hire kit from kev ?

the reason I ask is that It doesent cost too much to get a setup if you go down the second hand route so might save you a bit of money.

it's £20 per hour i think. I have considered the 2nd hand route too just at the moment i'm currently having to save my cash to replace my rather pathetic and outdated laptop before i go back to uni (unfortunately i have to get my priorities in order). Once that's sorted I can look around for kit. I want to get a nobile n62 and nobile t5 board like i'm learning with.
