Some of you know already and some of you know i have been chasing it for a while now. Well I have officially this week become a UK Team Rider for Best Kiteboarding, super stoked about it and really happy to be part of the team. Best have been at the forefront of our sport since pretty much the very beginning and are always pushing the the sport, it's equipment and riders to the very top. Best have had some really great results this year on the comp scene. Just take a look around the kite sport press world and you'll see what i mean.
Anyway this year I will be riding the Kahoona V3 kites. I have this week taken hold of 2, an 11.5m and a 7.5m, really cool looking kites, i have only had chance to get the 11.5m out so far, looks like i might get chance to ride the 7.5m tomorrow. Really impressed so far with the 11.5m, had it out in some pretty light widn conditions yesterday and it held up really well. I was out riding in around 13-16kts for a good couple of hours. Bit windier today and it was really impressive. I wil have a more detailed review in the coming week or so, once i have had them both out and got right into the bones of them, pics will be included.
I will also be riding the Best Armada kiteboard this year, once i get my hands on one sometime in the next few months. Might even be getting one of the Spacecraft Surfboards too. Not sure when though.
