Just back from Fuerteventura and it's effin snowing!!
Unusually windy for this time of year out there so didn't get to SUP as much as I'd have liked but it certainly ticks the box if you're happy to mix windsurfing, kite surfing, surfing and SUP?!
Anyway....my main goal was to hook up with Bouke Becker from Witchcraft and get my own SUP shapes sorted for the forthcoming season and OMG he has not disappointed!!
We've simplified the whole SUP concept with a range of boards that work in different ways for different sized people. We have a dedicated beginner board which also surfs exceptionally well for the 100kg+ guys, an all rounder which is a great first board for the 70-85kg gang but also works as a great change down for the heavier guy and last but certainly not least a wave SUP which is a great change down for 75-85kg (even works for 100kg in perfect conditions) but also great for ladies or kids as an all rounder.
Those familiar with Witchcraft will know their reputation for making uber strong boards. Our SUPs have been designed to be super light but also extra strong, they have an ergonomically designed carry handle, 3/4 deck pad and even a GoPro FCS mount built into nose.
They'll only be available through ourselves initially. We also have options on carbon paddles and board bags which are nice to haves.
With our planned expansion into the Lakes next season there'll only be a limited number of boards available on the first container so if you'd like a bulletproof SUP designed by one of the world's shaping gurus give me a call to discuss which construction you'd like and put down a deposit to reserve one.
