Just followed a link from kiteworld website to kitaddict and they've got a board finder sticker system that's free. They post you a sticker with a unique code on it and then if someone finds your board they just follow the instructions on the sticker to contact kitaddict and get the board back to you.

Just thought I'd pass it on in case anyone might find it useful
