broken lines

Postby leeb on Tue Oct 18, 2011 6:31 pm

Was after some opinions about doing a DIY repair job on your lines. I snapped my back lines in the waves so was thinking of shortening them and re-sleaving as I would only lose about 1 foot of the line. I have read about re-sleaving by tying knots or stitching - any thoughts?
Thanks, Lee.

If you want them done professionally then Im sure jonnie eisler does them
http://www.jonnieeisler.com/

as for doing them yourself ive read that the standard knot method works fine but I would probably stitch them to be on the safe side
