I use a C type kite and so don't have the de power Bows and SLE claim. But how much of this de power is actually in the kite itself and not the bar. If I were to buy a kite that claims 100% depower but used my current airush 5 line bar would I see 100% depower? Or if I were to use say the waroo best bar on a C kite would I see much more depower?

I'm pretty sure the depower is in the kite and not the bar? at least it is with the 9m Waroo I've got. However If you put a different bar on you might not get the full depower range of the kite depending on how much throw the bar has on the centre line.
