Just a quick one,
Zoe and I had a short sesh there on Friday and what a cracking spot,
I know with east in the Wind it opens up all of the coastline, but you all should try here,
Great waves and a beautiful location,
all overlooked by Dunstanburgh castle,

I haven't been there kitesurfing, just surfing. I'll have to give it a go over the summer.

Sounds good! Would love to own one of the beach huts there.

I was told of the ban through nigel at Northern Freestyle, when he was liasing with the councils as to which beaches were open to kitesurfing/ landboarding, due to wildlife activity etc. This was interlinked with the ban at Hauxley and Lower Hauxley, although this was due to teh resisents not wanting kiters on the beach.

Having said all that this was back in 2003 and may have changed since.

I know that it's banned in St Mary's Haven which is the bay closest to Low Newton at the North where most boats are moored but I didn't think there was a ban at Embleton, the south end of the bay. Always wanted to try a session there, its my favourite beach in Northumberland.
