It isn't snow kiting but the conditions at Glenshee at the minute are pretty fantastic. If you fancy snowboarding / skiing and can't afford the time or expense of a trip to the Alps it shouldn't be overlooked.

I've been up 3 times now since Christmas and it keeps getting better....

You seem to be riding "regular"? Seems strange when you surf goofy... I was up in Aviemore 2 weeks ago i'll upload some of my footage, wasnt nearly as nice weather so thats had a negative impact on the quality, but even so am still really impressed with the quality of the footage that you have managed to to take with your HD version vs. my non HD version.

It is pretty weird. I've surfed goofy since day one. When learning to snowboard, regular felt more natural.....how does that work! Still, I feel pretty at home riding goofy on the snowboard as well so that really helps. I play racket sports with my right hand yet write with my left hand! I'm just all messed up

Heading to Glencoe/Nevis range tomorrow (if we get there) for a long weekend. Hope its as good as Glenshee looks.

Strange about all that regular goofy stuff. I ride regular and always struggled to ride switch until I started kiting and it seems to have made it easier.

I don't need to do any of this to be messed up though. That just comes natural like,

Had to go via Oban to get to Fort William as Glencoe road closed past Bridge of Orchy.

Friday. 80 cms of powder at White Corries in Glencoe. Really hard going in waist deep snow, but possible to ski all the way back to the car park and an amazing job that they got the road open.

Saturday. Got a GoPro cam (will post some vid when I figure out how to). Glencoe ski area the only place open so it was heaving, but they had done a mega job piste bashing over night so slightly easier going. Two very lucky skiers avalanched 2000 ft near etive glades area (see BBC news) both alive but with leg injuries.

Sunday I can hardly move. Doh!
