Sick as one, just found out bloody Russian bid has been accepted for 2018, stinks to me and the weather has been totally shit. Suffering from cabin fever, caught myself hoovering the other day then watching day time TV.

Anyway, snowkiting was expensive to set up and it just isnt kiting on the water. As you know I've never done anything before on the snow. Tried it the other day and again today on the town moor. It's ok and it's easy to get up and going but it's going to take a few sessions to get used to not being able to move you're feet and relax into a different stance without you're quads burning after two minutes!

So far the wind has been light so I'll wait til I've had a few more goes in better wind and see if something clicks...saying that the lads there today who have snowboarded before all find it way more natural.

Karl cann't help it mate next time I could get the chance to watch the world cup "The National Sport" in England I will be a least 65.



Videos of Town Moor session look brilliant, it appears everyones ended up as basket case, i have never snow boarded so would be in intensive care by now on life support, I feel like I may have missed an oppotunity to give it a go. Will keep an eye on web and if some kit comes a long at a good price will consider a purchase. I'm working away for a couple of weeks so will see how things look when I am avaiable again.

Pete and I have just bought a load of snowboarding gear each, Google 'Swiss Tim's', he's got the lot, brand new boards 'from' £120, spot on for the NE of Ingerland, second hand bindings and boots, £40, and he lives in Shields. The website only shows a selection of gear, get it bought...!

Sounds like a bargain mate.....but you should of got in touch, We got an amazing selection of snow stuff at the s2as.
Word of warning about second hand boots though mate.....Most boots nowa days have a thermo liner that molds to the foot so when ya buy ya new boots u wear them for a while until the have molded to your foot. Problem is once they have molded to your foot they wont remold again, hence never lending ya boots to a mate and not buying second hand boots. That said if they get you out snowkiting on the cheap then happy days!!!
