Hi guys, just wanted to ask if kitesurf kites were any good for landboarding for reason being they look so much nicer than traction foil kites?

yes

you see loads of landboarders using LEI's now. If you see the landboarders who ride in the ksa circut the majority of them are on LEI's.

for landboarding look at something from 2006 onwards and stay away from C kites for land.basicly you want something with decent depower, SLE's, hybrids, deltas, ect. Theres loads of decent LEI's out there.

you can have a blast on mine sometime just to see if you like them any better than DP foils. even if you just want to pop down crimdon one night through the week or the weekends .

nice thx :) only got limited funds but i got my eye on a couple.
I only just figured out the difference between SLE,LEI and C shape kites :), i agree a good de-power one would be best for me, the safer the better
i also got alot of work on at the mo, but if i see you out maybe i can have a go? :)
