Kitesurfing Holidays abroad

Postby daz26 on Wed Feb 09, 2011 8:42 pm

I thinking about a holiday abroad with the lads and im wondering where to go, there all up for trying kitesurfing so it would need to be close to a school, it would also have to have a good nightlife. Anyone got any ideas?

have a look at mar-menor in south east Spain. I stopped there a few year ago, unfortunately the fortnight I was there was the worst 2 weeks of wind ever. we stopped in mar menor golf resort ( polaris world ) about 3 mile west of the main resort, when I did get out the mar menor itself was a flat lagoon, if you want some small waves you can head ten mile north or south and kite on the med. There are a few kite schools in los alcazares and one right on the beach. plenty of restaurants and cafe bars but not exactly jumping. le manga is only a short drive south with a bit more life. all in all would be great when the wind is there for family or lads. there are also dozens of golf centres in the area if that floats your boat? If you want any more info drop me a PM
Cheers

KA Kitesurfing will be running holidays abroad this year. Infomation will be available on our web site soon.
A kitesurfing holiday It is simply the perfect way to bed in the skills and become a kitesurfer and also a great way to make friends.

The BKSA head of training's Andy Gratwick is helping us set these trips up and with his knowledge and experience of different places I'm sure that we will be able to offer fantastic holidays with great instruction in safe, windy and beautiful locations.

Cheers
Kev
