I have just started out myself, have read loads on the Internet, got dvd's ect... and have just had my first kitesurfing lesson with "KA Kitesurfing". After Reading and watching DVDs I thought I was getting the sport sussed, and could possibly do without the lessons..... but thank god I didn't. Even setting up a 9m kite is a little worrying when it's your first time, and that's the easy bit. Launching it is another matter. Kev (instructor) explains everything really well, will put you at ease, and makes all the "boring" safety stuff interesting. I had a days lesson, bargain at £99, and by the end of the day, I was bodydragging downwind. This was a lot further progression than I expected. The only problem now is........ I really want another lesson!!!
Hope this proves helpful for anyone new like myself, and this is the best place to spend the first of your pennies!!!!
Chris
