I live in Newcastle, i have some past experience in wake boarding but would love to give this a go. Obviously I'd have to get the kit first but I wouldn't want to jump into it without some kind of tutorage because as amazingly fun as it looks it also looks dangerous.

Are there any groups up here that do this?

any board sport experience is always helpfull when learning to kitesurf. So because youve wakeboarded before you should find the board part a bit easier then youve just got the kite to worry about then
