Mountain Biking Sat 11 aug

Seeing as there is approximately f* all wind forecast for the weekend I'm thinking of dusting off my bike and going for a ride on Saturday. I'll probably head over to Blanchland and do a 2/3 hour ride and wondered if anyone else fancied it.

Its a good area with plenty of trails including some nice singletrack, but nowt too X-treme or fast paced either as I'm pretty rusty. Can do either saturday morning or late afternoon into evening possibly with swift half in country pub to follow...

Have faith? could be a chance of a sea breeze :D

By the way, has anyone replaced the centre line that goes to the chicken loop on the Waroo bar? Mine's looking a bit dodgy.

Hi Joe,

I'll join you. Need to be back in town by about 5. So setting off late morning would be ideal for me, or can do early morning but would prefer a lie in. Can share lifts if you want. I have a bike rack so can take 3 bikes.

Cheers,
Andy

Anyone else up for it?

Looks like there's a bit of a sea breeze up. If it keeps up I'm going to head to Blyth for 5ish and have a play in the lagoon. Last night there was a breeze but it was on the light side but I still managed 2 hours in the lagoon. Lot's of walk of shame stuff but I still enjoyed it.

I'm watching the wind, so if it picks up may see you at blyth later Ben.

Dru is looking a bit stronger at the moment, but we'll see.

no problem Steve, It was a good ride of about 14 miles total. I'm up for another one soon and I think Andy would be too if the wind continues to fail us.
