Newbie saying hi

Just found this forum (cheers Tindall).

Thought id drop a line to say hi to you NE Kitesurfers :)

Ive been a land lubbing landboarder for too long now so picked up a board & wettie a few weeks back! :)

Me and a friend went out in low winds last sunday and had an absolute ball.

5hrs and I think 10 meters was my record haha! Still, body dragging all over the sea was sooo funny I was grinning from ear to ear!

My problems were:

    Low wind
    choppy water
Damn booties wouldnt fit in my straps causing no end of grief
spinning round with the board lol - MUST KEEP KITE AT 12!!

All that aside I think it was the best conditions (wind-wise ) for a first crack at it. You sure need a load more wind than on land!

Hope to see you all some time :)

P.S last time I was up I lent my kite to a French dude who was flying a yellow/black 12m Nemi HP, is he on here? If so heya! ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!!
Flies- 12 hifi (looking for a 9)
