Riding with one hand

Postby squires on Mon Sep 04, 2006 2:08 pm

I can do this for about 2 seconds and then I lose control of the kite. The kite seems to want to edge towards the top of the window. I am putting my back hand right next to the centre of the bar, but still I am losing control. :(

Same happens on my toe-side attempts.

what kite do you have again andy?

sounds like it could be line stretch, as most kites should stay still in the window without any steering.

Paul,

I've got a Slinghot Turbo Diesel. I suppose I should try keeping it still in the window on the beach first.

Cheers,
Andy

A kite will always drift to what ever side of the window its most on! So if it's left of the zenith itll gan left and vice versa!

You have to have sum serious line issues for it to gan the other way!

Andy havent had a fly of the turbo desala's so a divent naa! wouldnt fiddle about with the lines tho thats whats gonna knack it!
