Mint!

Been out 4-5 times since a got it and its belter, gets me going in 11mph with an 11m waroo. Its very good for getting upwind in the light stuff and playing in the waves. Got fins on either end and you can ride it both ways comfortably. Its also good at getting your body in the right position because youve gotta keep your balance all the time and not switch off. This is great for when you go back on your twin tip because it makes landings/turns a lot easier!

Its good fun and for all the days we get over here (too many) where the winds a tease not quite enough for your twin tip. You can make use of them now.

But be prepared to rap it a lot cos it aint very forgiving :D just when you think youve got the hang of things it fires you off!

What do you think about having foot straps on the skim board like the CrazyFly board does?

Roly a would'nt bother thats what I did and it was crap. You can get going on the wooden ones but I could'nt stay up-wind and it was doing my head in. Its not majorly flexible its just wide (almost a metre a think) and light. Once you build up a bit of speed you can just cruise with hardly any power in the kite.

Ben sure if you wanted footstraps go for it itll work just the same, would'nt like to boost on it though its like landing on a ice ring when you jump. I prefer no straps cause when a use it it is'nt really windy anough to play on my twin-tip. So I just mince around :D

p.s missed a wicked Blackpool session!
