Hi Mate,

Just been reading your posts. I'm pretty new to kitesurfing along with my mate. Got 7m, 12m and 15m kites between us. Tried flying the kites a few times but would be lying if I said I had any control over the damn things.
Just wondering if you've taken any lessons and from whom? Also, have you begun bodydragging and water starts yet? What's the learning curve like?

Drop us a line if you get the chance mate.

Cheers

I took a couple of lessons in June having never flown kites previously I feel it is really important to learn the basics so that you can fly the kite with a degree of safety if not in total control. After second day I was relatively confident and enjoying body dragging. Having tried the board a couple of times in small waves I found it a struggle to control the kite while sorting out the board. Last week headed to Paddies on flat water it made all the difference shallow flat water allowing concentration on the kite flying. Until bust kite but that another sorry tale???.

Will PM you with contact details Regards Andy B
