Snow kiting spots near Newcastle

There is no wind today so I'm going sledging on the moor! :D

If there is any wind at the weekend and the snow sticks around I fancy giving snow kiting a go. Has anyone found any decent spots?

im gonna snowkite in gateshead tommorrow windynook come on the leas southshields works anywhere at the moment you only need 5mph winds to get going
