Quite a few down, 16knots cross-on, not many lasting very long, personally managed 40 minutes before I lost feeling in the tips of my fingers, despite wearing gloves, pretty sad really.

Marshall was the hardcore of the day, in first out last, reckon he may have heated bar grips...!

Tynemouth was excellent on Sunday as well although the wind was much stronger - 22-25 knots when I was out at around 2pm until 3.30pm . Not sure why South Shields would be weaker on that direction - what time were you out? It may have been lighter earlier on.

Yeah out in the morning, about 1030 to 1100, not normally bothered by the cold, but hoooleee sheeiite was it cold. How long you last up your end?

An hour and a half in the end. I had been out at the chem works the day before so was absolutely knackered! I also thought I had used all my lives up in the waves by then! It was freezing though
