For those of you unfamiliar with Tynemouth, it's the North East's surfing Mecca and is home of surf legends the Davies Bros.
Just 7 miles away from Newcastle with a host of great restaurants, bars and accommodation it ticks all the boxes for the travelling paddle surfer.

Accommodation
Depending on your budget there's everything from The Grand Hotel in Tynemouth to a caravan park & cheap B&Bs in Whitley Bay (about 2miles away). For those keen to experience Newcastle this is only 7miles away and is easily commutable by car, metro or even bus!
Evil Monk Party
Drawing some inspiration from Tynemouth's historical Priory we've decided it's only fair that we have a Halloween-themed Party so don't forget to pack your costume and sachets of tomato sauce!! The vampires, werewolves and zombies will be dragging themselves around the numerous taverns of Tynemouth Saturday evening before 'the hard core grave robbers' venture off into the Satan's Lair also affectionately known as Whitley Bay
All entry fees are payable in advance. In the event of unsuitable conditions we'll postpone the event until the next weekend with waves or we'll simply refund you. Can't say fairer than that right?

Insurance
There may be a additional nominal fee on the day just so that all competitors are covered to the satisfaction of our local council. This can be paid on the day and shouldn't be any more than £5-10.
