Had my fisrt snow kite session of the year at Teesdale Harwood area today. Snow a bit sparse but it was riding surprisingly nice. Was nice and breezy up on the top above the lift, but good for the 5.5 Bandit. It may still be OK for tomorrow.

Mick Snow kiting can be done at Morrisons, Herrington park, & Weardale ski club area too.

No I didn't go sunday, report from Harwood lift late Saturday was that it was starting to melt and the Weardale cam confirmed that. Graeme,how long before your knee is mended

It was one silly day last year, but i did launch at the road and kited up to the ridge and had a fun hour on that little patch. Some people are easily pleased!!

cheers i tried the leas at shields and weardale last year but could do with finding somewhere a bit higher consett,stanley etc way as theres even snow up there in the summer
