Tynemouth - This morning

Postby nekitesu on Fri Mar 30, 2007 10:48 am

Just been out at Tynemouth. Had a chance for a quick session as was needed at work until midday. Was great first thing (8am) with nice powered runs for about 40 mins and then it completely disappeared. Hopefully weekend will be better

Well that's one up for the live weather station at Dru, saved me a wasted journey today :D
I was gonna go but decided against it as the wind started dropping and now it's sitting at 6 knots...Good work James and Andy!

btw have you thought of linking to http://www.southshields.metsite.com/wxlocal.html on northwinds?

I am thinking i might ebay some more of my junk to try and get some more of these up the coast :P

No problem Roly, glad it's starting to become useful.

Great spot with the South Shields met site. :D We're about to contact them to see if we can use their data on the north-winds website. Hopefully they will let us. This would be a good indication of the conditions in Tynemouth too.
