As per the topic, do bicycle puncture repair kits work as kite bladder repair patches?

Don't know for sure but I wouldn't have thought so unless they use self adhesive ones cos the glue that you normally use melts the rubber slightly on the inner tubes to create the seal

i am a bit of a bothcher and i have used a bike punture repair kite twice and both times they have been fine would still recomend a proper bladder patch tho but if u aint got it improvise adapt and overcome.

Some of bike patches work much beter than kite paches. I bought a lot of green patches of ebay they are beter than this for kite and also cheap.

That sounds quite encourging, did you guys use the glue in the puncture kits or did you just apply the patch straight on? It's only a pin hole leak that ive got.

Clean with alcohol first let dry out and apply patches that should work for long time.

have used both glue and self adhesive both work ok for small holes
