just come back from Voss. Definately a possibility for snowkiting forays. There are two or threee locations on the mountain that are worth a peek depending upon the wnind strength and there is enough skiing etc for non-windy days. Not as god as the hardangervidda, but easiaer to get to and family friendly. We stayed at the Voss YH which is about 15 mins walk from the cable car. Locals are kite freindly as well. Unfortunately i only got a short session due to to dodgy weather (too much wind then not enough )
