Wind will be offshore at druridge if forcast right you'll be safer at paddies

Can't make tomorrow evening now, so gonna head out to majuba or paddies during the day.

I'm tempted to head to paddies during the day, or more like first thing in the morning (pre 10am). I've never been there before though and i'll be driving down from Morpeth. Anything particular I need to know??

Is the parking obvious? Also, whats it like leaving kit on the beach (car keys etc). Is it safe?

Not much really. It will be low about 10.45 tomorrow. So you will see the boat wreck which is there. It can be quite gusty due to the regular SW winds we get round here. but should be a bit cleaner tomorrow as it is meant to be a bit more NW, but that is why i was thinking of heading to Majuba possibly, NW is when it starts to work and it is better than paddies. But will judge on direction of wind in the morning.

Paddies is rideable at pretty much all states of tide, i have to say i prefer on an outgoing tide or the early stages of an incoming tide. High tide is doable but a bit of a pain in the ass.

Other don't mind it though on a high.

Aye one thing you will need plenty fuel it's 65 miles from my front door in Bedlington to paddies
So you will looking at the best part 70miles each way from Morpeth

whats the plan then for today ? who's going where ?

Everything is saying westerly now, so will probably go to paddies this afternoon. I will cruise down past majuba just to check it out.

Should be down for about 1pm and wind is looking like it will be build gradually through the afternoon.

heading to redcar for 1.45, will check majuba first then if its no working ill head to paddies.
