Hi james,

welcome to the forum,

the chemical works is just south of hartlepool near seaton carew. it works on a NNW through east to south. My favourite spot because it has a bit of everything. Waves (when forecast), but if you dont like waves or are learning then theres a flat water lagoon at low tide and one at high tide (5.2m+) also loads of space to launch and land at HT.

paddies is at redcar. Its the spot we use when the wind has west in it. its a bay in the river mouth so its flat and gets a bit of wind chop. it works on a ssw through west to nw. Its normally pretty gust on a ssw but the more west or north it gets in the cleaner it gets. its also nice and shallow so good for learning new stuff.

check out the spot ocator on this site for more info

hope it helps
