Tom and I will be down majuba or the gare for about 9. We will check wind at both to see where best. I think it is still a bit westerly just now.

Crazy Crazy Crazy session at Majuba today. MONSTER!!!!

Tom and I were there for about 9am and it was looking fairly calm 12m weather. But that wasn't to last!!! Within about an hour the wind speed had almost double and was blowing probably 25-30knots. So 4 of us went out on 7m to give it a go. It just kept builidng and building and by 1pm was howling 35-40knots and teespilot should gust of 45knots around that time. The swell was hard work too. Way over head height i would say and very mushy in the shallows. So i gave my hand today to high wind kiting and a bit of surf kiting, and lets just say i still have my hand and am ready to give it another go. i learnt a few things today and realised it ain't for the faint hearted.

Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. What a wicked bank holiday weekend for wind sports!

I measured 49.9 knots just after you landed your kites. Was going to come over for a chat but could barely walk down the beach with that sand storm.
