where can u go inland boarding near newcastle with open fields, theres the town moor but its crap there anywhere else??Please help

Not sure if this is of any use but there is a guy called Brian and he boards in a field at Blyth when the tides are wrong.

I guess you could use some sports fields, but they tend to be full of hazards and busy. Plus the wind inland is usually crap. I once landboarded down a golf course fairway, but i wouldnt recommend it.

I think the best grassy spot is the Leazes at South Shields which is always popular with landboarders, plus you get clean wind.

Only real decent place is the Leazes at south Shields.

I landboard mainly at Druridge with the Brian mentioned earlier. He's tried kiting on the small football field at Pegswood near Morpeth, but there may be some access issues with fears of the field getting churned up by boards. It's not that big an area though.

I'd rather just stick to the beaches when the winds too light for the sea though and get the 8.5 Flexi Blade out.

Yeah leazes is great, i went there yesterdy with my waroo and just messed around with it.
