this has got to be the worst winter for wind since i started 5 years ago.windy during the week and nothing at weekends
i am even considering turning to the dark side and thinking of buying a landboard
but dont know if i can face crashing on the hard stuff
was wondering if landboarders get many injuries

It has been a complete shocker. Last year was pretty bad, this year is terrible.

I got some kit in early December and I still haven't had a chance to try it out. I'm waiting for a 15-25mph wind with some waves. You would think winter would be full of them!!!!

If we get another one of these, I'll be thinking of another hobby for winter. Normally I just go surfing during the windless spells but the waves have been really terrible for weeks as well.

as you all probably know ive got loads of spare time through the week and I havent been out much at all. and the times I have been out its been on my 15m mainly
around christmas time there was a spell off 6 weeks where I never got out at all.

I agree. Totally crap winter for wind and a crap few months before that for me, so I went and booked myself a trip to ....Soma Bay Egypt!!. Just had my flights cancelled by Jet 2. Brilliant.
