About NEKitesurfing
NEKitesurfing has been in operation since June 2006, starting out as a kitesurfing school offering a range of kitesurfing and powerkiting lessons through a BKSA / IKO qualified instructor. Since then NEKitesurfing has expanded to provide a hub for North East Kitesurfers. We provide a North East specific forecast page that links all the most commonly used forecast engines (i.e. Wind Guru, Magic Seaweed) all into the one area, all configured to North East Locations. We also host a thriving kite sports forum that has turned out to be a great way of meeting other North East kiters, especially with the introduction of the live chat area, ‘The Board Room’.
In March 2007 NEKitesurfing helped set up North-Winds.co.uk, a real time weather site aimed at providing accurate, up to date wind and weather data around beaches in the North East. The biggest change in 2007 has been the opening of NEKitesurfings online kite shop. The aim of the kitesurf and powerkiting shop was to provide newcomers to kitesurfing and veteran kitesurfers with a place to purchase kitesurfing equipment locally. Please take time to look around the kitesurf shop and the rest of the site, and keep coming back as more kitesurf equipment will be arriving all the time and there are more website changes in the pipeline!
